10 Day Green Smoothie Challenge – Part III

Day 8 – Worked Out // Ran out of smoothie ingredients so I ate vegan in the morning until I could get to the store
Day 9 – Rested // Had green smoothies and healthy snacks
Day 10 – Worked Out // Had green smoothies and vegan dinner with my family

So as I wrap up my 10 day green smoothie cleanse, I have to say I enjoyed it so much! This was something I 100% recommend to anyone who wants to get in control of their eating. My sweets and processed food intake was out of control and it was so great to get off of all the sugar and junk food. Just by making healthy choices, I lost a pound a day! I will DEFINITELY be choosing a green smoothie more often. I honestly could have gone all month having smoothies for breakfast and lunch, then just have a vegan dinner with my family at night.

For the rest of the month I will continue trying to work out. We are currently on summer vacation, so although I plan on trying to get out and get some extra adventuring outdoors during our trip, I won’t have my workouts this week. I already see a difference in my body – muscles in my arms and inches coming off. I am still saying no to sweets and doing my best to cook fresh foods and not depend on the easy go to processed food. The hardest one is the processed food. Being a busy momma on the go, it is hard to always find time to cook dinner from scratch. To help me out though, I bought a new vegan cookbook by my favorite food bloggers, Minimalist Baker. Everything I have cooked from their blog has been DELISH, so I am excited to try some new recipes.
